► Turn the clamp nut (1) in direction  as far as it

will go.

► Check that the shaft (2) cannot be shifted any

more ant that the clamp nut (1) is twisted tight
in direction   as far as it will go.

The shaft length is properly adjusted if the shaft

(2) cannot be pushed in or pulled out and the
clamping unit is twisted tight in direction of   as

far as it will go.

Aligning the clip

The clip can be moved to different positions

depending on the shaft length.

► Switch off the pole pruner and remove the bat‐

tery.

► Press clip (1) together and move on the han‐

dle hose (2), ensuring that the following condi‐

tions are met:

If the shaft has been retracted: a = 15 cm

If the shaft has been fully extended:

b = 50 cm

► Put on the shoulder strap (1).

► Adjust the shoulder strap (1) so that the cara‐

biner (2) is about a hand’s width below your

right hip.

control handle – wrap your thumb around the

control handle.

► Hold the pole pruner firmly with your other

hand by the handle hose - wrap your thumb

around the handle hose.

The saw chain can be positioned precisely

using the gauge bar.

► With the chain running at full speed, press the

guide bar downward against the limb with a

leveraging movement.
