Press down the trigger interlock (

)
and squeeze the throttle trigger (

)
(full throttle) – this sets the throttle
cable correctly.
:
Place the power edger on a
suitable support so that the blade
mounting (

) faces upwards.
:
Insert stop pin* or offset
screwdriver* (
2
) as far as possible in
the bore (
3
) – push lightly and rotate
it back and forth
together
with the
thrust washer (
4
) until the drive shaft
is blocked.
:
Fit combination wrench (
5
) on the
nut (
6
).
:
Loosen and remove the nut
clockwise (left-hand thread).
:
Remove the thrust washer.
