3.2 Installation without securing to a wall

Separate the upper section of the Vario bracket from the
lower section. To do this, unscrew the adjusting screw
from the Vario bracket. Pull the upper section backwards
slightly and lift it upwards to remove it.

Position the lower sections of the brackets at the intended
installation site, the same distance apart as the storage
heater feet (see operating and installation instructions,
chapter "Specification / Dimensions and connections").
f
Secure the lower sections of the bracket to the floor using
appropriate fixing materials (screws and rawl plugs are not
included in the standard delivery).
f
Slide the upper section of the bracket into the lower sec-
tion and secure it again using the adjusting screw.
f
Unscrew both securing screws from the Vario bracket.
f
Place the storage heater, without its air discharge grille,
front panel and right side panel, with its feet on the Vario
brackets.
f
Remove the air routing assembly from the storage heater
as described in the operating and installation instructions
for the heater.
f
Secure the storage heater to the Vario brackets with
screws.

Check the alignment of the storage heater using a spirit
level. If necessary, correct the level of the storage heater
using the adjusting screw on the Vario bracket.

Continue with the installation of the storage heater as
described in the operating and installation instructions for
the storage heater.
