Troubleshooting Equipment Behavior

This section describes equipment issues that may occur without showing an error
code on the display.

11.2.1

General Equipment Issues

Issues below relate to general equipment usage. For issues related to wash cycle
operations and wash performance see

Wash Cycle Issues

on page 123.

11.2.1.1 Sonic irrigator does not power-up.

l

Make sure that the main disconnect switch is in the ON position and that
electrical power is supplied to the equipment.

l

Facility power may be incorrect for the equipment. If facility power is incorrect
for the equipment, the internal circuit breaker may have tripped. Contact
supplier.

11.2.1.2 Basket does not release from the tank.

l

Make sure that instruments within the basket have not moved, and are not
protruding through the basket preventing unloading. Reposition any
instruments that have moved.

l

Make sure that the luer hoses and connections have not detached, and are not
protruding through the basket preventing unloading. Reposition any hoses that
appear to have moved.

l

Make sure that the handles are pulled up on
BOTH sides of the basket so that the side
latches are disengaged from the top edge
of the basket. See
