3.4 Foot Pan & Side
Rail Operation
3.4.1 Foot Pan
Adjustment
To adjust the foot pan, rotate the pan to a parallel position with the ratchet plate.
Move the foot pan to the desired position. Rotate the foot pan to a perpendicular
position to the ratchet plate.
3.4.2 Side Rail Operation
To raise the side rail, grasp the rail and squeeze the trigger assembly at the head
end side of rail. Pull the rail out from under the seat section and release the
trigger. Swing the rail upwards until it locks into place.
To lower the side rail, grasp the rail and squeeze the trigger assembly at the
head end side of rail. Swing the rail downwards with the trigger released, until
the rail locks into place under the seat section.
