5. OPERATION
To turn the recorder on, press and hold . The recorder will light on Time mode.
To turn the recorder off, press and hold for 2 seconds to enter Time mode. The
recorder will then automatically power off and enter Sleep mode after 60 seconds if no
key is pressed.
When the recorder is turned on, it will be in Time mode.
The current date and time will be displayed on the LCD screen.
Press MODE to place the recorder in Standby mode. The unit is now ready to make or review
recordings. The current folder and number of recordings will be displayed on the LCD screen.
The Hold switch locks (disables) your recorder’s controls to prevent accidental key presses
when it is in your pocket or bag.
• To lock the controls, set the Hold switch to the position (up).
