VOR FUNCTION
You can set the VOR function to all modalities (SP: standard recording, LP: extended
recording, HQ: high quality recording) to start recording when the REC-840 detects sound,
and pause when no sound is heard.
1. Use the MODE button to select the “VOC” modality, press the VOL-/ VOL+ buttons until
seethetitleVORtogetherwiththequality(SP,LPorHQ).
2. Press REC/STOP button to start. In this option the REC-840 starts recording and pause if
the noise is low and starts again when sound is detected.
NOTE: The VOR function is affected by the sound around you. Set “VOR SENSE” in the
menu according to the recording conditions.
3. To cancel this function simply press the VOL-/ VOL+ buttons until remove the title VOR.
