Usted puede instalar primeramente la tarjeta y posteriormente los drivers,
o los drivers antes de insertar la tarjeta. Ambas formas de instalación son
correctas. El siguiente método, instala la tarjeta antes de instalar los
drivers correspondientes.
INSTALACIÓN DE LA TARJETA PCI
Su tarjeta PCI se instala en el interior de la computadora personal.
Asegúrese de tener conocimientos de instalación de computadoras, en
caso contrario acuda con un técnico especializado.
1.- Desconecte el cable de corriente de su computadora y desconecte
cualquier dispositivo conectado a ella. Tenga precauciones acerca de la
electricidad estática o descargas eléctricas.
2.- Remueva la cubierta del CPU.
3.- Seleccione una bahía disponible PCI.
4.- Utilice un desarmador para quitar la cubierta de la bahía y coloque la
tarjeta PCI, haciendo que coincidan los conectores con la ranura de
expansión. Presione firmemente y vuelva a colocar los tornillos para
asegurarla (Fig. 1 y 2).
5.- Coloque nuevamente la cubierta del CPU y conecte todos sus
dispositivos.
INSTALACIÓN DE CONTROLADORES
1.- Una vez que haya instalado la tarjeta en la computadora, el sistema la
detecta y el asistente para hardware nuevo aparece. Inserte el disco de
instalación en la unidad de CD.
2.- Seleccione Instale desde una lista o ubicación específica (Avanzado) y
presione Siguiente para continuar (Fig. 3).
3.- Seleccione Buscar el controlador más adecuado en estas ubicaciones,
incluir esta ubicación en la búsqueda y localice el fólder SmartTVLE \
Driver que contiene el controlador de la tarjeta.
4.- Durante la instalación aparece un mensaje de advertencia. Presione
Continuar para seguir el proceso de instalación. En caso contrario se
cancelará la instalación y tendrá que volver a comenzar (Fig. 4).

HARDWARE INSTALLATION
You must to install the PCI card inside of the computer. Make sure that you
have the enough knowledge configuring and installing components on
computers, otherwise go with a technician.
1.- Unplug the power cord from your computer and any other connected
peripheral devices. Follow the precautions for static electricity discharge.
2. Remove the computer's cover.
3. Select an available PCI slot for the new board.
4. Remove the selected slot bracket by unscrewing the holding screw,
slide it out and place the PCI card, carefully align the board's bus
connector with the selected expansion slot on the motherboard. Push the
board down firmly, but gently, until it is well seated (Fig. 1 & 2).
5. Place the computer's cover and plug all your peripheral devices.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
1.- After installing the PCI card onto computer, a newly installed card will
be found and Found New Hardware Wizard appears. Insert the Driver CD
into the CD-ROM drive.
2.- Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced) option and
press Next to continue (Fig. 3).
3.- Select Search for the best driver in these locations, check Include this
location in the search and clock on browse button to locate a SmartTVLE \
Driver folder with the card drivers.
4.- If Windows warns that the driver has not passed Windows Logo testing,
click Continue Anyway to resume the installation, otherwise the process
will be canceled and you must to start the installation process again
(Fig. 4).
