- Do not install the detector where it
is exposed to cold or hot air currents.
- Avoid direct detector vents or air
conditioning or heating ducts, metal
exterior walls, windows or drapes,
grids of refrigerators or anything that
may change temperature rapidly.
- Do not place objects in front of the
detector to change significantly the
volume or the detection area.
- Select the mounting location so that
the detection zone is 45° from the path
by which an intruder could enter. We
recommend installing in a corner.
