Preliminary WIRING AND MECHANICAL EHU Testing

Refer to the SDA100 manual for conducting the preliminary testing for the EHUs

NOTE

: The wiring test is done to ensure that the wiring of the EHUs is done cor-

rectly. It is critical that the wiring be as shown in

Figure 3.11

. Incorrect wiring

can potentially damage the antenna or antenna controller, in addition to causing

poor performance.

Once all of the EHUs are correctly wired and each EHU is being properly con-

trolled by the SDA100, the initial testing is completed.
