D. Place the base into the car in the selected seating position with the
Stabilising bar beside the car’s seat back as shown.
E. Open the belt cover. Extend the seat belt to maximum length. For
a lap-sash seat belt, position the tongue in the middle of the fully
extended belt. Feed the tongue through the seatbelt path opening
and locate in the guides on each side of the base, following the
blue REAR-FACING SEATBELT PATH labels on each side.
C. For car’s with flat seats, some
packing (such as firmly rolled up
nappy or towel) may be required
to get a better angle and to have
the stabilising bar contact the
car’s seatback or close to the
seatback.
