1. Safety
Please read this document attentively and carefully before putting the product into operation and
using it for the first time. It must be stored permanently and passed on to any other recipient
together with the product!
RISK OF INJURY IF THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT
OBSERVED:

This product is not suitable for use by unattended children or wards!
■
When selecting the installation site, it must be ensured that the relative humidity
and temperature values mentioned at
Point 2 are observed.
■
Mobile power strips are not intended to replace fixed installations.
■
Mobile power strips are not designed for continuous operation with strong
electrical loads!
(e.g. refrigerators, space heaters, baking ovens, heavy electric
power tools, etc.).
■
Defective power strips must be taken out of operation immediately and disposed
of in accordance with environmental legislation and regulations.
■
Do not open the product! In the case of failure, take the product out of
operation (disconnect it from the mains) and contact a qualified electrician or a
specialist dealer.
2. Intended Use
This product is intended to provide for temporary or stationary connection to the mains when attached to furniture from the
STEELCASE FLEX Collection. Domestic use or use for similar purposes, not suitable for construction and assembly work. Use the
product in dry and clean indoor rooms only with a maximum relative humidity of 90 % and an ambient temperature of up to 25 °C
(or occasionally up to 35 °C). The product must not be used near sources of chemical emissions (e.g. oil mist, soldering fumes) or
sources of dust.
Improper use includes:
■
operation in the industrial-technical area or a similar area (workshops, etc.)
■
use as a tray for storing objects; covering the product (Power Stand)
■
fixing the suspension device (Power Hanger)
■
Improper use (other than prescribed in the user information). -Do not attach the product at a height of more than 1.40 metres
above floor level; -Do not pull the cable to lift the product; -Do not connect additional power strips
3. Cleaning and Disposal
Danger from electrical voltage!
Liquids penetrating the product can cause a short circuit and lead to electric shock
when touching the product.
Disconnect the product from the mains before cleaning.
Make sure that no liquid penetrates the product.
