8.4.
SAFETY
To disconnect the system from the power supply, set the master switch
(6)
located on the front of the controller to
0
. Before doing so, you must stop the arm motion and switch off arm power supply.
See the Safety chapter
3.3
for isolation of the system.
DANGER:
Disconnect all the electrical and pneumatic power supplies before carrying out any
work on the controller or the arm. Wait for at least
1 min
before starting to work.
CAUTION:
Use an anti-static wrist strap and an anti-static mat connected to the controller for all work
involving handling of boards or components.
Take all the necessary precautions as set out in paragraph
3.4.3
to avoid the risk of
electrostatic charges.
During maintenance and/or diagnostic operations, if parts are replaced or exchanged between
different systems, make sure that they are fully compatible (hardware and software
compatibility). Check, at low speed, that the robot is operating correctly, especially for
calibration.
