• The connected USB drive might not be detected by the
Operating System (OS).
• The connected USB drive drops during read/write opera-
tion.
• The connected USB drive triggers an Over Current Protec-
tion (OCP). The
USB-A Port
will no longer detect any
connected USB device.
If an OCP is triggered the
Docking Station
will require a hot
plug or power cycle (disconnect all power sources and con-
nected USB drive from the
Docking Station
for 30 seconds,
reconnect the USB drive and power source to the
Docking
Station
), this will reset the OCP function on the
USB-A Port
.
To connect a high power USB drive to the
Docking Station
use one of the other
USB Ports
on the
Docking Station
.
USB-C Port (Charging)
The
USB-C Port
can be used as a charging port (e.g. cell phone,
tablet, etc.).
1. Connect a USB-C Cable to the USB-C Port on the Docking
Station and to a USB port on a compatible device.
