NOTE: the detached 4-pin connector cannot be used in place of the 4-pin ATX12V (P4) connector.

8. Make sure any loose or unused cables from the power supply are away from fans

and other moving parts.

9. Place the cover back onto the computer case.
10. Make sure the power switch on the power supply is set to “0”, then insert the power

cable into the socket on the power supply. If the old power cable looks worn or

damaged in any way, replace with the supplied power cable, otherwise it is safe to reuse it.

11. Reconnect all other connectors/cables that were removed in Step 2. Set the power

switch on the power supply to “1”.
