Plug it in. When your Starlyf® Digital Cooker is
ready to use, the light on the screen will be on;
when the appliance is on off mode, the light will
be off (fig. zz).
TEMPERATURE SETTING
Press the ON/OFF button from the digital panel
and the figure on screen will flash. By default,
the display will show “40” and will be flashing to
indicate the unit is preheating to 40°C.
Press up (fig. x) or down (fig. y) to set the
temperature required: 40º increase between
40ºC to 200ºC. Once selected the temperature
required, the display will flash 5 times. Then it
will enter the cooking mode automatically.
During cooking, if need to change the
temperature, press up (fig. x) or down (fig. y)
just once to activate it, and press a second time
to select the temperature required, the display
will flash 5 times, and it will enter the cooking
mode automatically.
TIME SETTING
Once temperature is selected, press function
button (fig. z) to enter time selection mode.
Then press up (fig. x) or down (fig. y) to select
the time required: the time is increased or
reduced by intervals of 1 minute (in 0-10-minute
section), 5 minutes (in 10-40-minute section)
and 10 minutes (in 40-300-minute section).
Once selected the time required, the display
will flash 4 times. Then it will enter the cooking
mode automatically.Time will count down
by minute from the selected time to 0 on the
screen until the time is up.
When cooking is finished, the bell will ring once
and the screen will turn off.
To turn OFF the device, just press the ON/OFF
button from the digital panel.
After use, make sure your Starlyf® Digital
Cooker is off and unplug unit from wall outlet.
NOTE: Time and temperature can be adjusted
anytime during the cooking process.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
• Depending on the temperature selected,
the estimated time for preheating is 3 minutes.
For faster heating, cover your Starlyf® Digital
Cooker with the tempered glass lid.
• Place food in the skillet after preheating: do
not leave skillet on without any food inside;
over time, this can damage your Starlyf®
Digital Cooker.
• Cook food as recommended in our Recipes
Book or until desired results are achieved.
NOTE: Use Caution - probe may stay hot after
use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: To prevent personal injury or
electric shock, always remove temperature
control before immersing skillet in water or
other liquid. Do not immerse temperature
control, its cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
• Turn OFF the device by pressing the ON/
OFF button from the digital panel. Unplug unit
from electrical outlet.
• Before cleaning your Starlyf® Digital Cooker,
make sure the cord has been unplugged, the
unit has cooled down and the digital panel has
been removed.
• Digital panel is not immersible, to clean it just
use a damp cloth.
• To clean the skillet, first remove excess food
and oil with a clean cloth. Wash with warm
soapy water.
• Immersing a hot skillet into water can cause
skillet damage or warping. Warm or hot water
should be used when cleaning. Do not use
abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads
on cooking surface, as they will damage the
coating.
• After washing, rinse the skillet thoroughly
with water and dry. If detergent is not entirely
rinsed off interior and exterior of griddle, it can
result in stained areas when reheated.
IMPORTANT! The Starlyf® Digital Cooker is
not dishwasher safe. Do not pour water directly
on the Starlyf® Digital Cooker. Never immerse
it in water or any other liquid.
Quality Warranty
Warranty: This product is covered by a warranty
against manufacturing defects subject to the
time periods stipulated by the legislation in
force in each country. This warranty does not
cover damage resulting from inadequate use,
negligent commercial use, abnormal wear and
tear, accidents or improper handling.
