DaVinci-II Aprilia RSV4-APRC / RF Note
Installation and user manual.
INSTALLATION
Your DaVinci-II for Aprilia RSV4-APRC comes with a plug&play loom which allows the direct connection without any modification to the original
harness of the bike.
1.
Remove the original dashboard.
2.
Position DaVinci-II making, on the original front frame of the bike, the three holes for the silent block supports, as per DaVinci-II user
manual.
3.
Connect DaVinci-II to the bike harness using the loom adaptor supplied in the package. The cable labelled “CAN” is only required to
connect any possible Starlane optional modules such as, for example, the RID LAMBDA module (code RID1LRT)
for carburation .
4.
If you also want to detect the TPS signal (throttle position), connect the
YELLOW
wire (supplied) by soldering it to the
YELLOW-BLACK
wire which goes to pin 48 of the large connector of the ECU. If you want the signal from the grip instead, the wire is
LIGHT BLUE
on pin
13 of the same connector.
We suggest to connect to the GRIP signal because it’s also easier to calibrate,
if, on the other hand, the data is
to be used for carburation, it must be connected to the TPS.
OPERATING AND SETTING
