Never swim toward the kite.
Pull the bar toward you (like for maximum power)
Bend over and grab a leader line (on the side of the bar) as far as possible
Pull on the leader line while keeping the bar as close as possible to your
body.
Push the bar away and release the leader line when the kite starts re-
launching.
