Electrical Connections
This wiring diagram below applies to the default programming of this light. There are
several additional features that, if used, will affect the wire functions shown below.
Note: The Yellow wire will ALWAYS override the Red wire.
Use standard On/Off switches rated for 5 amps and make your connections
according to the wiring diagram below.
**Standby current < 0.001A
The RED wire must be connected to +12VDC
for any of the functions to work.
RED
- Flashing Color 1
GREEN
- Pattern Select / Programming
BLACK
- Ground
5 AMP Fuse
12VDC BATTERY
YELLOW
- Steady Burn Color 2
Programming
This light has been designed for maximum
versatility and has several different
options that can be programmed. The
programming options are all accessed by
activating one of the colors and holding
the GREEN wire to POWER for the
corresponding length of time.
Flash Pattern Programming
Activate the Enable wire you want to program and
touch and release the GREEN wire to POWER to scroll
through the patterns listed to the right.
At any time you can hold the GREEN wire to POWER
and release it after the light flashes once to shortcut
to Pattern 1 (Flicker).
Note: Only patterns 3,6,7,8,and 9 are SAE Approved

Operation
Using your user supplied switches, 12VDC to the wires indicated in the wiring
diagram on the previous page to activate the desired function.

Please note that Enable 2 will always override Enable 1.
Service
Color Options
Each Enable wire has 4 different
Color Options
.
Activate the Enable wire you wish to reprogram and
hold the GREEN wire to POWER, releasing it after the
light flashes twice. The Color Option will advance to
the next option in the chart to the right.
Reset to Factor Defaults
To reset the light to its original factor default settings, activate either one of the
Enable wires and hold the GREEN wire to POWER. Release it after the light flashes
three times.
Simultaneous/Alternating
•
In
Simultaneous Mode
the entire lightstick will flash on and off together.
•
In
Alternating Mode
every other head flashes opposite one another.
To toggle this mode, activate the Enable wire you want to program and hold the
GREEN wire to POWER and release it after the light flashes four times.
Cruise and Takedown Modes
•
Cruise Mode:
Low Power (Dim) Steady Burn Mode
•
Takedown Mode:
High Power (Bright) Steady Burn Mode
To activate either of these modes, activate the Enable wire you want to program
and hold the GREEN wire to POWER and release it after the light flashes five times for
Cruise Mode
or six times for
Takedown Mode
.
To exit either Steady Burn Mode, activate the Enable wire and hold the GREEN wire
to POWER until the light flashes once (it will be in Pattern 1).
