• Use only the adapters supplied with this unit to power and charge the unit.
• When an extension cord is used:
– The marked rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of this unit.
– The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or
pulled on unintentionally (especially by children).
– The extension cord should be kept dry and off the ground.
• Disconnect the unit from any power source before attempting maintenance or cleaning. Turning off controls without disconnecting will
not reduce this risk.
• When operating the unit using an external DC power source, make sure the voltage is rated at 12 volts DC. The unit will not operate
from a 6 volt power source and will sustain permanent damage if connected to a 24 volt power source.
SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHARGING THIS UNIT
•
IMPORTANT:
This unit is delivered in a partially charged state. When using this unit in cordless mode, fully charge unit before using for
the first time using the supplied AC Charging Adapter for a full 20 hours.
• All power switches should be turned off when the unit is charging or not in use. Make sure all switches are turned off before connection
to a power source.
CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF PROPERTY DAMAGE:
Pull by connector rather than cord when disconnecting the 120V AC
Charging Adapter from an AC outlet.
SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPRESSORS
CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE:
Never leave the compressor unattended while in use.
WARNING: BURST HAZARD:
• Carefully follow instructions on articles to be inflated.
• Never exceed recommended pressures. Bursting articles can cause serious injury.
• Always check pressure with the pressure gauge.
CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF PROPERTY DAMAGE:
Do not operate the compressor continuously for longer than approximately 15 minutes, depending on ambient temperatures, as it may
overheat. In such event, the compressor may automatically shut down. Release the Compressor Trigger immediately and restart after a
cooling down period of approximately 15 minutes.

Hand-held Rechargeable Air Compressor with LED Work Light
. Read this Instruction
Manual and follow the instructions carefully before using this unit.
CHARGING/RECHARGING
Lead-acid batteries require routine maintenance to ensure a full charge and long battery life. All batteries lose energy from self-discharge
over time and more rapidly at higher temperatures. Therefore, batteries need periodic charging to replace energy lost through self-
discharge. When the unit is not in frequent use, manufacturer recommends the battery be recharged at least every 30 days.
Notes:
This unit is delivered in a partially charged state – you must fully charge it upon purchase and before using it for the first time. Initial AC charge should
be for 20 hours.
Recharging the battery after each use will prolong battery life; frequent heavy discharges between recharges and/or overcharging will reduce battery
life. The battery must be recharged using the 120 Volt AC Charging Adapter.
Make sure all other unit functions are turned off during recharging, as this can slow the recharging process.
The time required to fully recharge the built-in battery depends on the charge status after use. Approximate recharging time is 12 hours.
CAUTION: RISK OF PROPERTY DAMAGE:
• Failure to keep the battery charged will cause permanent damage and may result in poor performance.
• Overcharging will reduce battery life. NEVER CHARGE FOR LONGER THAN 36 HOURS.
Charging the Unit
1. Insert the barrel connector of the 120V AC Charging Adapter into the 120 Volt AC Charging Port on the back of the unit. Plug the
120V AC Charging Adapter into a (powered) standard North American 120 volt 60Hz outlet.
2. The red Charging Indicator LED lights, indicating the unit is charging. Charge for the recommended time. Do not overcharge.
3. Disconnect the AC Charging Adapter from the unit and the 120 volt AC power source when not in use.
POWERING THE UNIT
Powering the Unit Using the Built-In Rechargeable Battery (Cordless Mode)
The built-in battery can power the Air Compressor for short duration, cordless operation. The battery should be fully charged before first
use (see “Charging/Recharging the Battery”).

Powering the Unit Using the 12 Volt DC Power Adapter
The 12V DC Power Adapter can operate the Air Compressor from an external 12 volt power source for extended periods of time. However,
refer to the “Important Safety Instructions” section of this manual for cautions and warnings before use.
PORTABLE COMPRESSOR
This 12 volt DC Air Compressor is the ultimate compressor for all vehicle tires, trailer tires and recreational inflatables. The Compressor
Power Trigger, located on the front of the unit (refer to the “Features” section to locate), controls operation of the compressor.
Inflating Tires or Products With Valve Stems
1. Screw the SureFit™ nozzle onto the valve stem. Do not overtighten.
2. Press the Compressor Power Trigger.
3. Monitor pressure with the built-in Pressure Gauge.
4. When desired pressure is reached, release off the Compressor Power Trigger.
Note:
For longer inflation operations, push the Compressor Trigger Lock on to lock the Compressor Trigger in the ON position. Pushing the Compressor
Trigger Lock to the opposite direction releases the Compressor Trigger (turning it OFF) and inflation stops.
5. Unscrew and remove the SureFit™ nozzle from the valve stem.
6. Allow the unit to cool before storing away.
Inflating Other Inflatables Without Valve Stems
Inflation of other items requires use of one of the nozzle adapters.
1. Select the appropriate nozzle adapter (i.e, needle).
2. Screw the adapter into the SureFit™ nozzle. Do not overtighten.
3. Insert the adapter into item to be inflated.
4. Press the Compressor Power Trigger — inflate to desired pressure or fullness.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Small items such as volleyballs, footballs, etc. inflate very rapidly. Do not over-inflate.
5. When desired pressure is reached, release off the Compressor Power Trigger.
6. Disconnect the adapter from the inflated item.
7. Unscrew and remove the adapter from the SureFit™ nozzle.
8. Allow the unit to cool before storing away.
9. Return the nozzle adapter to the storage compartment.
Recharge this unit fully after each use.
CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK PROPERTY DAMAGE:
To prevent hose damage, secure the compressor hose and nozzle using the Storage Clips after each use.
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE:
• Follow all safety instructions found in the “Specific Safety Instructions For Compressors” section of this instruction manual.
• The Air Compressor is capable of inflating to 120 pounds per square inch (PSI) pressure (approximately 18 kg/cm). To avoid over-inflation,
carefully follow instructions on articles to be inflated. Never exceed recommended pressures. Bursting articles can cause serious injury.
