Press the PTT switch on the BH-1/BH-2 to transmit. Release the PTT switch to return to
receive.

The communication range between the BH-1/BH-2 and HX760S is around 10 m (33 ft). If you
move out the range, the beeper sounds a low pitch tone. If you move back into range, the beeper
sounds a high pitch tone.
7.
When the battery voltage of the BH-1/BH-2 becomes low, the BH-1/BH-2’s LED indicator will
blink red/blue at same time, and the beeper sounds a low pitch tone. Charge the BH-1/BH-2’s
battery with the optional CD-40
Charger Cradle.
NOTE
When the BH-1/BH-2 is correctly recognized by the HX760S, the HX760S’s internal speaker,
microphone, and [VOL] key are disabled.
NOTE
Obstacles between BH-1 and HX760S may shorten the communications distance.
7.3.3 CHANGE OF THE EAR HOOK
The BH-1/BH-2 comes ready to fit the left ear. You may change the BH-1/BH-2 to fit the right ear in
the following procedure.
1.
The Ear Hook is removed by pushing it out with a pointed object.
2.
Removed Ear Hook is inserted from the other side.
8. MENU (“SET”) MODE
The HX760S’s Menu Mode allows a number of the HX760S operating parameters to be
custom-configured for your operating requirements.
The Menu Mode is easy to activate and set, using the following procedure:
1.
Turn the transceiver off.
2.
Hold down the [SQL] key, and then turn on the transceiver while still holding down the [SQL]
key.
3.
“SEt” will appear on the display, indicating the Menu (“Set”) Mode has been activated.
4.
Press the [SQL] key to select the Menu item to be adjusted.
5.
Press the [
T
] or [
S
] key to enable adjustment of the selected Menu item. The menu item will
blink
6.
Press the [SQL] key to select the status or value of the Menu item.
7.
After completing your adjustment, press the PTT switch to save the new setting and exit to
normal operation.
