Preparation for operation
POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
Keep the unit away from any hot surfaces. Always operate the unit on a level, stable,
clean, fireproof and dry surface and out of the reach of children and persons of
impaired mental, sensory and intellectual functions. Ensure that the power supply
to the unit corresponds to that specified on the identification plate!
ASSEMBLY OF THE UNIT
The unit has mounting holes in the back wall and the base, which allows to fix it to
a wall or to the ground. Mounting is done with the use of raw plugs.
3.3.
Working with the unit
Before using the unit for the first time, open the door of the safe with the
emergency keys. Perform hardware power installation. Enter the override user
code (0.0.0.0.0) or management code (8.8.8.8.8.8) on the lock panel to
electronically unlock the safe. Enter your own safeguards.
3.3.1 OPENING THE SAFE WITH A KEY, CLOSING IT
a) To open the safe manually, locate the emergency key in the lock hole located
under the battery cap. Then at the same time turn the supplied key
counterclockwise and the door knob clockwise. Swing the door open by pulling it
towards you.
b) Closing the door of the safe and turning the door knob counterclockwise will lock
the safe.
CAUTION!
Never store emergency keys inside the safe!
If the combination is missing and/or the power supply is disconnected, the unit
cannot be opened!
3.3.2 BATTERY INSTALLATION
a) To install the power supply, remove the battery compartment cover on the door
of the safe and insert batteries (4x 1.5V AA). Cover the hole.
b) If the batteries are installed correctly the LCD will display "good".
CAUTION!
Press the "START" button to check the battery level.
If "LOBAE" appears on the display screen, replace the power supply
immediately!
3.3.3 COMBINATION AND OPENING THE SAFE WITH A CODE
a) Select the "START" key on the lock button panel. Enter one of the superordinate
codes: user 0.0.0.0.0.0 or management 8.8.8.8.8.8. Confirm by pressing the
"START" button. The green indicator light will turn on and the display will show
