and frequency at the location where the device will be used are consistent with the values indicated on the name plate. The
device is equipped with a power cord. Use the above mentioned cord to connect the device to an electrical outlet with a
residual-current circuit breaker installed on the wall.
5. OPERATION
5.1. Assembly and disassembly of the grinding mechanism
Caution: Before disassembly the device must be turned off and disconnected from the power source.
•
remove the meat container located in the feed opening of the device;
•
turn the locking ring in the counter-clockwise direction;
•
disassemble the sieve (perforated plate), the knife, the auger screw;
•
unscrew the side knob by turning it in the counter-clockwise direction and remove the sleeve;
•
in order to assemble the above mentioned parts, proceed in reverse order.
Caution: Before commencing the operation of the device ensure that all parts are correctly attached.
5.2. Operation
•
Cut into products intended for grinding into portions of such size that will easily fit in the feed opening of the grinding
chamber.
•
Connect to the power supply and then turn the device on.
•
Put the products intended for grinding on the tray.
• Remember to always use the pusher.
After the end of operation the device must be turned off and disconnected from the power source.
Caution:
If the ground meat is not coming out from the grinding chamber smoothly or its consistency is incorrect, the possible
causes and the recommended activities in such a situation are presented below:
•
The nut is applied too loosely, as a result of which the knife is not in proper contact with the grinding plate. Tighten the
nut.
•
The nut is too tight and is blocking the knife. Gently loosen the nut.
•
The grinding plate is jammed. Please clean the grinding plate.
•
The edges of the knife are blunt. Please sharpen or replace the knife.
5.3. Blockage
If the engine is jammed, or if the engine is working but the meat is not coming out of the device through the grinding plate due
to clogging caused by a bone or other products, please set the switch to the REVERSE position in order to remove the bone or
other products causing the blockage and clean the device.
5.4. Notes on the operation of the device
Never push products intended for grinding into the feed opening using your hands. Always use the pusher for this.
Do not grind hard products such as bones or nuts.
Do not use the device to grind products with hard fibers such as ginger, etc. In order to avoid the clogging of products in the
head, do not push them with excessive force.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Caution: Before cleaning the device must be turned off and disconnected from the power source.
•
Before leaving the device it is necessary to disassemble the grinding mechanism and wash its components in hot water
using a detergent or in a dishwasher.
• Do not clean the device using water under pressure.
• All maintenance work should be carried out on a device disconnected from the power source.
