Troubleshooting
If the error cannot be eliminated using the specified procedures:
Contact R. STAHL Schaltgeräte GmbH.
For rapid processing, have the following information ready:
• Type and serial number of the device
• Purchase information
• Error description
• Intended use (in particular, input and output wiring)

• Auxiliary power failure
• Miniature fuse in connected
device type 9195 or 9196 is
defective
• Polarity reversed on
auxiliary power supply to
connected device type 9195
or 9196
• Monitor the wiring of the
auxiliary power supply.
• If the fuse is defective,
have the device repaired.
• Monitor the polarity of the
auxiliary power supply.
"PWR" LED
is flashing
Internal device fault
• Switch the device off and on.
• If the LED continues
flashing, send the device in
for repair.
Brief flashing of the
"ERR" LED
No HART field device found
• Connect the HART field
device.
• Check the connection.
"HART-Tx" LED
is off
"HART-Rx" LED
is off
No HART field device found
• Connect the HART field
device.
• Check the connection.
"RS485-Rx" LED
is off
"RS485-Tx" LED
is off
• No RS485 bus connected
• RS485 interface not active
• Connect RS485 interface.
• Check the connection.
