8 Commissioning
Before commissioning, ensure the following:
• Check the mounting and installation.
• Inspect device for damage.
• If necessary, remove foreign bodies.
• If necessary, clean the connection chamber.
• Check if all screws and nuts have been tightened firmly.
• Check the tightening torques.
9 Operation
Zero point adjustment
A zero point adjustment can be carried out, if the black pointer is not on the zero position
at 0 V, after installing the ammeter.
Requirement:
• The ammeter is installed and disconnected from the mains.
Zero point adjustment:
• Use the screw on the bottom right to adjust the zero point.
Comparison of measured values
• Use the red marker to set a nominal value (upper screw).
Measuring range assignment
• With the ammeters for 1 A and 5 A converter connection, it is possible to assign rapidly
and easily the measuring range on site due to the scale plate that can be pushed in
laterally.

The scale of ammeters with direct indication may by no means be replaced!
