Installation
Opening the enclosure cover
Closing the enclosure cover
DANGER
Danger due to damaged joint faces!
Explosion protection is impaired!
• If joint faces are damaged, the flameproof gap can no longer be
guaranteed.
• Place the enclosure cover carefully aside or carefully put it onto the
enclosure.
• Replace the enclosure cover or enclosure with damaged joint face
immediately!
WARNING
Danger due to excessive weight of the enclosure cover!
Risk of injuries and material damage!
• Observe the excessive weight of the enclosure cover when
opening (see chapter "Technical Data").
• Use suitable lifting tool.
• Attach a suitable hinge if necessary.

• Unscrew the cover screw (1).
• Unscrew the cover by means of a handle (3).
• Take the weight of the cover into account,
if necessary, use appropriate lifting appliances.
• Place the cover carefully aside.
• Do not damage the cover thread.

• Treat the cover thread with reducing lubricant
OKS 403 (exemption size .96 with
Blasolube 300)
• Screw in the cover to the stop of the enclosure
cover stop screw (2).
• Press down the cover screw (1) and tighten it to
a torque of 5 ... 6 Nm.
• Flame path must not be changed. Painting and
processing are not permitted.
• Do not place any seals at the flame path.
