Before fitting the bushing into an enclosure, ensure that
X it is not damaged
X
the connection area is clean
X
thread and gap limiting surfaces are not damaged
X gap limiting surfaces have not been worked on or painted after installation (flameproof
enclosure)
X
no flameproof part is damaged
X
the need for protection against turning or loosening by using, for example, a lock nut
or glue on the bushing has been checked

WARNING
Cables outside the flameproof area must be connected via terminals or connectors
which meet the requirements of degree of protection “Increased safety“.

The temperature up to which the glue can be used must be 20 K higher than
the temperature occurring where the bushing is fitted.
