Transmitting/Receiving
Hold the
PTT
key pressed, the red transmission LED is lit. Speak with
normal voice level and a distance of approx. 5 cm into the microphone.
To receive a signal release the
PTT
key.
Call tone
Push the call key
C
to send out a tone call that is received by the
partner station. You also hear the tone in you own speaker and the
transmission LED is lit.
Automatic scan
The automatic scan permits to find active channels quickly. It scans
independently all of the 8 channels and stops as soon as a signal
exceeds the squelch treshold. After having found a signal scanning
will stop. I will start anew, if no signal is available. You can also restart
scanning by pushing the UP or DOWN key.
Activate channel scanning
1. Push the scan key
S
for a second.
2. Change the direction of the scanning by means of the UP or
DOWN key.
Deactivate channels scanning
Push the
PTT
key or the scan key to deactivate the scanning.
Using the spotlight
Press and hold the Torch button to shine the spotlight. The spotlight
works even when the unit is switched off.
