Preparation
Use 4 screws (M6) to screw the amplifier on the damping
plate and afterwards fix the mounting angle with the help
of 2 M6 screws (see figure).
Drill 2 holes (diameter of 6 mm) in the underside of the vehicle
at the selected mounting position and fix the amplifier using
the 2 M6 screws.
Installation
Important information:
The amplifier needs a voltage of 24 V!
Make sure that the polarity is correct when connecting the
device!
If possible, connect the amplifier via the vehicles ignition in order to
avoid an unnecessary load of the vehicle battery.
Note: However, if the voltage to the monitor of the stabo TTPC is provided through
the battery, the amplifier should also be connected to the battery. Otherwise,
the monitor (which is permanently switched on via the battery) triggers a sensor
malfunction alarm as soon as the amplifier is switched off via the ignition.
Connect the red cable via a separate fuse to the on-board power supply and connect
the black cable to ground. Lay the cable very carefully: Make sure not to bend the
cable and not to install it on sharp edges (risk of cable break) or to allow cable loops
hanging down (danger of accident).
Care and maintenance
Regularly check the proper screw connections of the amplifier and the mounting of
the cable.
When cleaning the vehicles underbody with a high-pressure cleaner, do not direct the
water jet directly on the amplifier.
