as the IP address. Press the Enter key on your keyboard.
8. The Hyperterminal console will indicate that the IP address has been set, and will also
report the submask.
9. At the prompt type
nvsave
, and press Enter, to save your configuration ( Figure 14 ).
10. The Hyperterminal console will indicate that your configuration has been saved
11. Exit the Hyperterminal console and disconnect the serial cable between your host PC
and the ST Micro Connect box. Connect it to your network using an Ethernet
connection.
12. Ensure that no application board is connected to your ST Micro Connect box, then
reboot it by switching it off and then on again. When rebooted, your network will
recognize the device by its new IP address.
