About transfer stations

Transfer  stations are optional devices for easier  and  more efficient loading  and  unloading  of Weasel
vehicles.  They  are  pure  mechanical  solutions  without  electrical  equipment.  The  transport  goods  are
exchanged automatically while the Weasel is passing under the transfer station.

Loading station

: With loading stations, you can take over transport goods at the same time you call

a Weasel, i.e. you don't have to wait for the vehicle to arrive. This saves time and increases efficiency
of your workflow.

Unloading station

: With unloading stations, your Weasel can deliver transport  goods without the

need for you to receive it immediately. In this way, you can organize your workflow flexibly.

A combination of an unloading with a loading station is also possible. By the way: Each transfer station
is equipped with an integrated tablet holder.

5.1  Tracks

In order to integrate a transfer station in your travel path, you will have to align it. For this, make sure
that your Weasels will pass straight under it. After bends, your Weasels will require a certain distance
until the drive unit and the vehicle contour form a straight line again. Otherwise, the Weasel may get
stuck in the station. In addition, there may be no bends in the station. To guarantee this, there must be
a straight section of a length of at least 120 cm upstream and 80 cm downstream of the transfer station.
This must be considered when planning the length of your station bays/harps. When using a combination
of transfer stations, the unloading station always comes first.

Note that there is a crushing hazard between the Weasel and the transfer station. For this reason,
the transfer station area must be marked clearly. Make all personnel staying near the travel path

aware of the risks involved.
