CONFIGURE THE CAMERA
The SPYPOINT MMS lets you configure all your settings of the camera
in the SETTINGS menu.
The camera comes with a preset configuaration. Make sure to verify
the Date & Time in the General settings to have the right info stamped
on your photos.
PHOTO
Delay:
Sets the time interval to wait between each detection
before the camera records the next photo
Multi-shot:
Takes up to 6 consecutive shots at each detection, with
a 5 second delay between each photo.
TIME LAPSE
Interval:
This option allows the camera to take photos at regular
preset intervals without detection.
VIDEO
Delay:
Choose the time interval between each detection
before the camera can record the next video.
Video lenght:
Select the duration of the recording.
Photo first:
When this option is enabled, a photo is taken immediately
before each video.
WIRELESS
Cellular:
Turn ON or OFF the transmission of pictures
Phone #:
Add up to 4 other phone numbers that will receive the
pictures by MMS.

SET THE MMS WIZARD
The SPYPOINT MMS lets you receive your pictures & camera status
via MMS.
Turn ON the camera & the WIZARD welcome page will appear. Choose
the language you want to use with the camera.
The WIZARD will then walk you through a few questions like follow:
• Your country :
• Your cellphone number where you want to receive the photos :
• The compagny where this cellphone is connected :
Launch the MMS test when you will have answered these few basic
questions. The test can take a few minutes.
Once the camera will have finished the MMS test, it will send you an
SMS at the phone number you’ve enrered to confirm that the camera
is now ready to use. It will also confirm that your 30 days free trial
has started.
You can subscribe to a plan anytime during your free trial at:

Before the end of your 30 days free trial, don’t forget to activate a
plan. If you don’t, you will receive an MMS saying that you that the
camera is now inactive.
First sync time: Choose at what time of the day the camera
communicates for the first time
Sync frequency: Choose the number of synchronizations that the camera
performs in a day.

About device: Provide your IMEI/SIM number and other informations.
Factory reset: Restore the device to its original state.
Note:
If the WIZARD does not boot when you start the camera for
the first time, please go in the Settings/General menu and
run the Factory reset. This will reboot the camera and the
camera will lunch the WIZARD automatically afterward.

INSTALLATION OF THE CAMERA
INSTALL THE CAMERA WITH THE SUPPLIED STRAP
Recommended installation height:
The camera should be installed at the same height as the animal’s
mid-body.
Ideal installation for quality pictures & videos:
The targeted animal should be 25 feet / 7.5m away from the camera for
a better field of view.
To get brighter pictures at night , you should have elements in the
background to reflect back the IR flash to the camera.
Note that the camera should not directly be facing the sun to avoid
back lighting and false detection.
TEST THE DETECTION OF THE CAMERA
When the DETECTION TEST mode is se
-
lected, no photo or video is recorded.
Pass in front of the camera from left to
right. When the camera detects motion,
the test light blinks to indicate that the
camera would normally have saved a
photo or video. If the system does not
detect the movement, increase the
detection sensitivity using the
SENSITIVITY option in the
GENERAL
SETTINGS menu or realign the system
differently. In T
EST mode, it is possible to take a photo by pressing the
OK button. The photo is saved and appears in the VIEW mode.
VERIFY THE CELLULAR SIGNAL
To test the cellular signal, go to the
NETWORK TEST in the home menu.
Run the test and note it can take a few
minutes.
Once the test will be completed, it will tell
you if it was performed with success. The
signal strengh when tested will be displayed
on the top right corner in “dBm”.

START THE CAMERA
Select the desired operating mode(photo, time lapse or video) on the
main mode by pressing OK.
When the mode is selected, the test light in front of the camera will
flash for 60 seconds to allow the user to leave the area without being
photographed or recorded.
