Powering off the recorder

Press and hold the power button for 6-7 seconds,

until  the  red  and  blue  light  flash  together.  The

lights will then go out and the device has powered

off.

Setting date & time for video timestamp

Ensure the microSD card is installed and the unit

is  powered  off,  then  connect  the  SPYBAT007  to

your computer. Open the device so you can see

the contents of the SD card. Right click, select

‘New’  then  ‘Text  Document’  and  name  the  file

time.

The date and time is stored in the following

format:

YYYY.MM.DD HH:MM:SS

Edit  the  file  to  the  current  date  and  time,  for

example. At 3PM on the 14th October 2013 the

file would read:

2013.10.14 15:00:00

Once you have set it to the current date and time,

save  the  file.  Now  disconnect  the  device  and

power it on. The date and time will be updated to

the information in the file.

All done!
