Click on the Activations tab. This tab, shown in Figure 5-3, contains the Hardware ID and a text
box for entering the SPIDAR SDK activation code. Activation codes are tied to a NIC-
500’s
hardware ID and are unique to each NIC-500. When you purchase an activation code, the Serial
Number and Hardware ID of your NIC-500 must be sent to Sensors & Software, and we will
provide you with an Activation Code.

Enter the Activation Code provided by Sensors & Software, then click the Apply button. You
will see a terms and conditions window. Full details of this use agreement can be found at:

Upon accepting, you will see the confirmation message that a code has been added (Figure
5-4). You will only have to do this once; SDK is now activated on the NIC.
