3.6 Powering down NIC-500
It is recommended to power down the NIC-500 in the software (
4.6.1). This ensures
that the system shuts down in the proper way.
In the event that the NIC-500 cannot be powered down in the software, press and hold the
power button on the NIC-500 for a few seconds. The NIC-500 has shut down when the LCD
display is blank. Only do this when absolutely necessary as this could lead to data loss and
corruption.
