Alignment of the coupling
1 Use bolts (0890) to position the electric motor in such a way that the coupling halves
are aligned correctly.
2 Place a ruler against the coupling. The ruler should touch both coupling halves over
the entire length, see figure 2A.
3 Do this check a couple of times around the entire coupling.
3.4.4
Tolerances for aligning the coupling
The maximum allowable tolerances for the alignment of the coupling halves are shown in
Table 2. See also figure 2B.
