Electrical connection
Wiring: Use stranded copper wire. For lengths up to 25 feet (7.62 m) from the power source use 2mm
2
(12 AWG) or 2.5 mm
2
(10 AWG) wire for 12V and 1.5 mm
2
(16 AWG) wire for 24V.
The pump must be installed according to ISO 10133 (Small craft - Electrical system - Extra low voltage
DC installation for continuous current). Note: The fuse must be ignition protected. The wire connections
must be sealed with a marine sealant or sealed cable connectors.
Note: Before installation with electrical control systems, check that equipment to be used is of sufficient
rated capacity to accept ampere draw of motor. Low voltage will cause motor to overheat.
