Setting the KEEP WARM Temperature   

  3 temperature settings: 140°F, 185°F and 208°F. 

  Press the “TEMP SELECT” button to select desired temperature, the corresponding indicator light 

will illuminate. This can be changed at any time. 

  Unit will automatically switch to Keep Warm (at your selected temperature) after water has boiled. 

 

TEMPERATURE SETTING CHART 

208°F 

Suitable for instant food and for hot beverag es such as chocolate drinks. 

185°F 

Suitable for tea or coffee preparation 
At economical temperature. 

140°F 

Suitable for instant milk formulas and taking  medication. 

* Ideal temperature setting is 185°F. If 208°F was  selected, it is recommended to switch to 185°F afte r 
use for energy saving purposes. 
 

Dispensing Water 

Press  the  UNLOCK  button  once  (UNLOCK  indicator  light  will  illuminate)  then  press  the  DISPENSE 
button to dispense water.

 

  If the DISPENSE button is not pressed within 10 seconds after pressing the UNLOCK button, the 

unit will automatically revert back to LOCK position. 

  The DISPENSE button will NOT operate if the unit’s power is not connected. 

 

Automatic water outlet lock 
These safety features were included to ensure that hot water will not be dispensed should the 
DISPENSE button be accidentally depressed. 

 

Re-boil Function 

Press the “REBOIL” button to re-boil water in the pot back up to 212°F.    After water re-boils, unit wi ll 
switch to Keep Warm at selected temperature. 

  Re-boil will not function if there is insufficient water inside the unit. 

  Pressing the REBOIL button immediately after the water had just reached boiling point will have no 

effect, as the water is already at 212°F. 

 

Auto Cut-Off 

Appliance has the following safety features and will automatically shut off when: 

  There is no water in the unit and unit boils dry. 

  Power has been connected but not water added to unit. 

  Water level is below the EMPTY mark.
