 Installation

To install the DMX600 you will need a dry, well-ventilated area 

such as a electrical closet. 

The DMX600 has 4 screw holes (2 per side) for mounting to the 

wall. Be sure to leave room for the electrical and dmx wires and 

connectors. 

Do not block any vent holes. 

Menu buttons

     There are four buttons on the front of this unit: MENU, ENTER, UP and DOWN. 
 *Press 

MENU

 to choose your DMX mode and address as well as PWM (pulse width mod-

ulation) mode. There are 4 PWM modes to choose from. PWM is the rate of current pulses to the 

LEDs. This affects how the lights appear to dim. Choose the mode that appears to work best with 

your controller.

Operating modes

 

The DMX600 can operate in two modes:

Mode 1 

- this mode is for use with warm white fixtures. This mode will have only one DMX channel 

(dimmer). Connections should look like the 
picture on the right. 
Connector 1 = + and R, Connector 2 = + and G
Connector 3 = + and B, Connector 4 = + and W

Mode 2 

- this mode is MAINLY for use with RGBW fixtures. (*see note for WW ZONE operation) 

These lights use 5 DMX channels. RED, GREEN, BLUE, WHITE and DIMMER. 

 

*NOTE* Mode 2

 - 

WW ZONE operation

. In addition to RGBW operation Mode 2 can op-

erate as a zone dimmer for WW fixtures. Connection to the driver is the same as Mode 1 but the 
driver operates as a 5 channel dimmer. Channel 1 = Zone 1 intensity, Channel 2 = Zone 2 intensity, 
Channel 3 = Zone 3 intensity, Channel 4 = Zone 4 intensity and Channel 5 = Master Dimmer.
