My pizza stone is very
dirty. How do I prevent
food residues on the pizza
stone?
You can prevent stains on the pizza stone by first rolling
out the raw pizza dough and placing it on the pizza stone
before you add sauce and other ingredients. Every so
often, you can use a stone brush or some emery paper.
Do not clean your pizza stone with detergents and only
put it in the pizza oven when dry.
My pizza's aren't that
crunchy.
You will achieve the best results if you first pre-heat
the pizza stone at a high temperature level for around
10 minutes.
Do I need to thaw my
deep-frozen pizza before
baking?
There's no need; you can place your pizza directly from
the freezer into the oven.
My pizza toppings cook too
darkly.
We recommend to first pre-bake the pizza dough on
the stone for around 1 minute and only then spread the
other toppings over the pizza. This way, you're sure to
enjoy a perfect pizza.
My pizza toppings don't
really cook thoroughly.
Make an Italian-style pizza – with only a few
ingredients. This will give you the best result. Harder
vegetables such as broccoli should be blanched briefly
before serving.
