Once the is unsnapped of removed, then the front entry platform must be 
unsnapped from the chain assembly and pulled down.

 

 

Once the  front platform/chain assembly is pulled down,  the  wheelchair 
should  be  placed  or  rolled  onto  the  platform  (Handles  facing  short 
platform). 

NOTE: 

THEN MAKE SURE THE WHEELCHAIR IS IN A 

LOCKED POSITION.

 

 

The  front  platform/chain  assembly  should  be  pulled  back  into  its 
original  position  and  snapped  back  on  the  chain  assembly  of  the 
platform with the swivel snaps.

 

 

Finally,  the  long  restraining  chain  should  be  placed  or  snapped  back 
onto the chain assembly by using the swivel snaps.

 

NOTE: 

If  the  wheelchair  swing  platform  is  to  be  used  in  an  open  park  or 

playground  installation,  we  recommend  some  system  of  supervision  whereby 
management removes the swing platform, of secures it to the nearest support, to 
prevent unsupervised mis-use of the equipment. Additionally, it is recommended 
that  a  barrier  be  placed  in  front,  on  the  sides  and  behind  the  swing  so  as  to 
establish a use zone that will effectively keep the flow of traffic out of the range 
of  the  swing.  This  measure  will  help  to  eliminate  an  impact  injury;  the  weight 
capacity for this product is 700 total pounds (whee occupant). 

 

This  equipment  has  been  designed  for  use  under  STRICT  CONTROL  BY 
AN ADULT. This Equipment does not meet the standards set by ASTM and 
is  designed  to  allow  people  who  are  bound  to  a  wheelchair  to  swing.  This 
unit  can  cause  serious  injury  if  used  in  an  un-supervised  area  where  other 
children  are  playing.  Should  a  child  run  into  the  use  are  of  this  product 
while  it  is  in  use,  the  resulting  injuries  for  a  child  who  is  hit  by  this  swing 
while in use, could be severe. When not in use, equipment should be secured 
via the lock and chain which have been included.
