Magnesium Alloy Anodes = Fresh water only

Not recommended for use in salt or brackish water

If you keep your boat in a wet slip/marina environment. 
Here is a list of different anodes recommended for various water 
types to prolong the life and shine of your stainless steel tab. 
Never use a wire brush to clean your tab!
