c) Adjustment of net height:
At first unscrew handwheels, adjust the height and then tighten handwheels again.
The net height has generally to be adjusted with released tension!
d) Tensioning of the net:
Use the flexible crank until the necessary tension is achieved.
Take care to turn the crank close to the upright to avoid damages of the
universal joint!
Afterwards push crank back into the holding device.
During tensioning of the net the uprights deform to the field centre. These
deformations are no defects and disappear when the tension is released.
e) Fixing of tensioning cords:
Now fix tensioning cords at both uprights to adjust the net. The lower cords
can be fixed in the lower eyes above the handwheels or tensioned around
the uprights. The upper and middle cords (if available) are only fixed
around uprights’ profiles (see bottom pictures).
f) Multiple field units:
Nets are fixed and tensioned at the central upright as described in points 3a to 3e. The opposite tensioning and holding devices
at the central upright render possible a variable adjustment of the net from both sides.
