If desired, infrared heat can be added through both of the large massage
heads. This is a very pleasant heat treatment, which increases the positive ef-
fects of the massage.
ITM radiates the infrared heat through the skin to the
underlying tissues. Thereby, both massage heads get warm but not hot.
The infrared heat of the
MEDISANA Intensive Massager creates a particularly
pleasant feeling. This singular combination of an intensive massage with infra-
red heat treatment makes
ITM a very effective massager.
Ensure that the appliance is switched off (“0” is visible above the grey switch
on the appliance’s top side) before plugging into the mains. Then plug into
an appropriate socket (230 V).
Push the switch

just above the handle with your thumb one notch forward.
The appliance switches on and you feel the vibration of the tapping massage.
The letter “M” (for massage) is visible.
Infrared heat can be added by pushing the gray switch

another notch
forward. The infrared heat comes on and the letter “M/H” (for massage/
heat-infrared) is visible on the switch.
