5.  Insert the Reel Plate Stem into the threaded hole on the 

Reel Plate face. (Note: This thread is aluminum and 

must be coated with anti-seize to prevent seizing.)

 

Screw 

the Reel Plate Stem into the Reel Plate fully by hand. 

(DO NOT Force pin into thread!)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6.  Use a large wrench or flat bar to tighten Main Reel Stem. 

Lock the Reel Plate with the lock arm, and slide the 

wrench or flat bar into the slot and tighten with 50 – 60 

Lbs of force.
