Two-Channel Microphone Preamplifier with
120V Technology
The Crescendo
duo
features a fully balanced signal flow. The input stage uses
10 pairs of matched PNP Transistors (Differential Input Transistors) for extremely
low noise and a very high common mode rejection.
Both input stages have six 5th generation 120V SPL SUPRA Operation Amplifiers
each.
The transformerless design of the input/output stages guarantees highly linear
amplifying.
The output stages operate as current amplifiers and therefore provide Class-A
operation with more than 6mA quiescent current.
Start up
Read the security advices on page 6.
Make sure that the selected mains voltage of the Crescendo
duo
is according to
the mains voltage of your region.
Make sure that the mains switch on the rear of the Crescendo
duo
is set to Off
(Off = O / ON = I).
Connect the supplied power cord to the Crescendo
duo
and an appropriate
mains socket outlet.
If the supplied power cord does not match your mains socket outlet, please contact your dealer.
Please connect the outputs of the Crescendo
duo
to the inputs of your audio
interface or mixing console.
Connect your microphones to the inputs 1 and 2 of the Crescendo
duo
with
high-quality microphone cables.
Microphone cables not included in the scope of delivery.
Switch on mains on the rear of the Crescendo
duo
(On = I).
The VU meter light up.
