Folding and Unfolding

With its simple folding mechanism khargo can be folded quickly and
easily. In the folded mode khargo can easily be stored and transported.
You can even carry khargo behind you when mounting steps.

Danger of Squeezing. When folding khargo, pay attention not to
squeeze body parts, clothes or brake wires.

Folding

_  Stand behind khargo and use the parking brake.
_  Close the handgrips (description: see section 3).
_  Hold khargo at the closed handgrips.
_ Use the recess in the seat to open the safety lock for the folding
mechanism by pulling it. Move the seat into a vertical position. The
safety lock will be deactivated and khargo folds flat. In the folded
position the front wheels are situated between the rear wheels.

Advice:

When folding khargo take one step back to avoid an over-

balance to the front.
_  Check that the safety lock for the folding mechanism closes correctly
  when khargo is completely folded.

Unfolding

_  Use the parking brake.
_  Hold khargo at the closed handgrips.
_  Unlock the safety lock for the folding mechanism by putting your
hand in the recess of the seat and by pulling it. Move the seat into
a horizontal position. The front wheels will unfold.
_  Check that the safety lock for the folding mechanism closes correctly
  when khargo is completely unfolded.

Height Adjustment

To adjust the height of the handgrips khargo has to be
unfolded and the handgrips have to be open.

_  Use the parking brake.
_  Put the backrest in a vertical position by pulling it.
_  Start on the right side. Pull the orange sliding element backwards
and pull or push the handgrip into the right height for you. The
handgrip tubes have numbers on the inside of both tubes to help
you see and memorize the right position for you.

Advice:

Try out different handgrip heights to determine the most

comfortable handgrip height for you. Frequently, the optimal height
is chosen when the arms are slightly bended while holding on to the
handgrips.
_  Check that the sliding element for the height adjustment locks
 correctly.
_  Repeat the height adjustment on the left side.
_  Put the backrest back in its original position by pushing it down.

Advice:

Remember your personal handgrip height when changing

the height and folding khargo for transportation purposes.
