Low Legs can be positioned anywhere along the length of the Beam Top simply by
sliding the Low Leg to the desired location.
HOWEVER, PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT
THE LOCATION OF THE LOW LEGS AFFECTS THE STABILITY OF THE FINISHED
APPARATUS. LOCATE THE LOW LEGS AT EQUAL DISTANCES FROM THEIR
RESPECTIVE ENDS OF THE BEAM TOP. TO ENSURE PROPER STABILITY, THIS
DISTANCE SHOULD BE APPROXIMATELY 12" FROM THE END OF THE BEAM TOP TO
THE NEAR EDGES OF THE MOUNTING PLATE.
8. With both
Beam Legs
now secured to the
Beam Top,
the
Beam
can be stood upright. Again,
please note that this apparatus is heavy and can be
difficult to balance if not held
properly while handling. Two qualified
persons are required for moving this apparatus.
9. Carefully assemble the beam
Ends Caps
into the ends of the
Beam Top
by gently tapping
them into place with the help of a Rubber Mallet (see
Fig.2
).
