During intervention of the
anti blocking system
, indicator
ABS
on the control panel becomes active.
At a vehicle speed of 0 up to approx.10 kph (6.2 mph), the anti blocking system does not work.
When a malfunction occurs in the anti blocking system, the indicator
ABS
on the control panel
becomes active.
4.8.1.2.
Service brake at trailer connection
If the truck is equipped with an optional
trailer connector
, the service brakes of the attached trailer will
also be active by pushing the brake pedal:

When operating the service brake, the brake lights of the trailer will also light up.

Parking brake

The parking brake is activated when the parking brake lever is moved backwards:
-
This will cause the spring brake boosters to vent and the parking brake to be active;

The indicator

on the control panel becomes active.
In the most backward position, the parking brake lever will be locked and the parking brake remains
enabled.
The parking brake will be released by pulling out the parking brake lever and to move it forward.
The indicator
status braking system
on the control panel disappears.
CAUTION!
Ignoring a malfunction of the anti blocking system may lead to reduced braking
power and a longer braking distance.
CAUTION!
ALWAYS activate the parking brake after parking the vehicle!
CAUTION!
Check if the parking brake lever is locked correctly to prevent from rolling away.
CAUTION!
The vehicle must never move in the opposite direction of the chosen gear.
