9. Troubleshooting
Problem Cause
Solution
No power supply
Check the electrical connections.
The thermal-amperometric motor
protector has deactivated the
pump due to overload.
Unplug the pump and clean it (see
section 8.1. Precautions and
Cleaning)
Check the water temperature (max.
35° C)
The pump’s motor
does not start or
stops suddenly after
a few seconds
Solid particles have obstructed the
suction filter
Unplug the pump and clean it (see
section 8.1. Precautions and
Cleaning)
The pump is not sufficiently
submerged
Lower the pump deeper in the
water
Clogged suction filter
Unplug the pump and clean it (see
section 8.1. Precautions and
Cleaning)
The pump is running
but no water is being
delivered
There is no outflow of air because
the delivery pipe is obstructed (it
may be throttled)
Remove obstructions from delivery
pipe

Diameter of external pipe is too
small
Use a larger diameter pipe
The flow rate is
insufficient
Too high head
Reduce the head
The pump is running
but the delivery is
